Initial load is usually pretty long (not sure how long but around 20 seconds seems right). After that typically it's within a few seconds. Every now and then it'll liike hang up though and take around the 20 second mark again though. Antiviruses are incredibly useful software, but they are far from perfect. Go to the Anti-Virus quarantine and check to see if the file uplay_r1_loader.dll is there. If it is there, then put it back in the root folder of the game being launched, then add this file to the antivirus scan exclusions so that you do not have this problem constantly.

Hello, I've had some serious issues with Far Cry 4 and other Ubisoft games lately. Opening and even trying to uninstall Uplay completely froze my computer and the only thing I could do was restart my computer the hard way. Yesterday I refreshed my Windows 8.1 and reinstalled Far Cry 4 and Uplay.
